I work on web security and privacy, with a focus on browsers, web platforms, and client-side technologies. My research combines large-scale measurements and systems analysis to understand how web technologies behave in practice, and how their design impacts security, privacy, and abuse resistance. My work has focused on browser fingerprinting and tracking, bot detection, cross-platform applications, browser security mechanisms, and emerging web-based threats.
I did my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois Chicago with Jason Polakis. Before that I was at the University of Crete for my B.Sc. and M.Sc., and a research associate at ICS-FORTH.
If you are interested, email your CV with a brief description of your research background and interests. See the Brandeis CS Ph.D. program for details.
